Is it possible to ADD a video card to a laptop with a integrated one?

Since i cant remove the integrated video card thats there could i possibly add maybe a external one just to compliment what i already have?|||External graphics cards do not exist. There has been no way found to run a graphics card through USB or anything else and keep it a good quality.
