Which video card is better ? NVIDIA or Intel integrated?

I have an integrated video card Intel(R) HD Graphics Memory 1402 MB, which is better ? that one, or a NVIDIA card 9800 also memory 1 GB?

I have windows 7 quad core cpu and 4 GB RAM ... and I want to play games with good graphics and such ...

please choose between those 2 only :)

and what criteria determines which is the better video card ?|||NVIDIA is the better graphics card. I know this from experience but also from reading reviews. Intel is not known for their graphics cards. NVIDIA is strictly a video card maker, not Intel.

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best-gaming-graphics-card,2544-7.html - look Intel is at the bottom of the list. :)|||Integrated video cards are not designed to run games or other graphics intensive programs. They are meant for light tasks such as web browsing/email, etc.

The Nvidia card is a discrete graphics solution aimed at the gaming market. The 9800 series is a bit out dated...won't be playing the newest games on high, but it should be at least 10 times better than the Intel solution.

The reason that is, is because the 9800 is engineered differently from the Intel card. It is designed to process vector graphics, and shaders, etc and all at blazing speeds compared to the Intel.

It's like comparing a Porsche to a Prius.|||Anything that is something out of the usual course of manufacture for a company that largely concerns itself with processors is likely to have a lesser quality than a graphics card made by a company that concerns itself solely on the development of graphics related hardware. Nvidia graphics cards do tend to be pretty good quality. I have a GT series graphics card and it makes Silent Hunter 5 look like the absolute bees knees on my laptop - i doubt very much whether an intel integrated graphics card would achieve the same level of quality, or even have the same level of tweak potential.|||NVIDIA, intel sucks|||NVIDIA intel is just a ****

some programs say that you dont have a video card when required in Intel|||the 9800 is 100 times better
