How do I disable an Integrated video card? Do i go into Device manager or BIOS?

I am installing a new graphics card, one from RADEON ATI.

I need to know when i disable the old on-board video/integrated video card, do I go into Device manager and disable it or go into BIOS?|||Bios is the best way to disable. Just turn off the on-board video and then install your new video card drivers. Don't use device manager for this. Device Manager will only do it in windows, and not for the whole motherboard. Therefore, your on-board video will still load first, you must disable in bios.|||Depends on your PC. Some use a dip switch on the motherboard, others use a jumper. Some automatically disable the MB video whan you add a video card.

Others require you to change settings in your BIOS. You really need to look at your manual or search online for your make and model.|||disable through bios.....most boards will automatically disable onboard video when you install the new vid card..........but it doesn't hurt to look in the bios to make sure it did disable it.................scott|||definatly got to Device maneger.

go to display.

extend it

right click and click disable|||Don't disable, get another monitor and go dual screen.|||disable it in bios make sure to be plugged into the new card while doing so.
